This is the official website of the film 'A World Within Three Acres'

Director:  Hannah Bushnell
The film is a documentary that takes the viewer behind the scenes of the Exotic Pet Refuge in Peterborough, UK, a sanctuary that takes in exotic animals that the owners are no longer able to care for, and exotic animals that have been abandoned, rescued or mistreated.

The film follows the centre's staff and volunteers over the course of six months showing the challenges of not just keeping the animals safe, healthy and happy, but also the challenges of keeping the charity going in very harsh economic times.  With the threat of closure a very real possibility, with health issues affecting the owner of the centre and with Winter fast approaching, the centre management has huge challenges to face and tough decisions to make.

We are proud to announce that
'A World Within Three Acres'
was runner-up in the
Royal Television Society Awards
in November 2014
